Pioneer Middle School Students Get Creative
About Water Conservation

More than 30 students from Pioneer Middle School accepted Cooper City’s invitation to participate in the annual “Drop Savers” Water Conservation Poster Contest hosted by the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA).

Students in grades 6, 7 and 8 created posters depicting water-conservation slogans and artwork.

This is the 25th year for FSAWWA’s poster contest, but the first year for Cooper City to participate. Posters are judged on message, creativity, originality and artistic ability. Perhaps one of the posters shown below will be selected this year by FSAWWA as a winner. Check back later this summer to see if one of the Pioneer Middle School students’ posters were selected.
